Learn MoreWe decided to launch without the ecommerce component of the site first so we could start sharing our vision and lightsaber chassis products with the community and hopefully generate some buzz/momentum for future sales.

Just as we were coming out of the design phase and gearing up for prototyping, Covid-19 puts the world on hold. After we both get orientated to new routines, we plan to finalize the chassis design and produce our first set of prototypes for testing.
We started with a few conceptual sketches, and then Stephen produced the first set of 3D renders for the chassis core, crytal chamber, speaker pod, and switch.
We considered number of different brand names and eventually settled on Kybercore for 2 reasons. The .com domain was available and it had a great story element to it -- 'kyber' being the crystal that powers a lightsaber and 'core' representing the center or internals of the lightsaber, which is held together by the chassis.
It all started as a custom chassis design inquiry. And after a series of emails and video conferencing calls, we determined that we could combine our skills and talents to create a new chassis system for custom DIY lightsaber builds.
